Airport Flyer ends some services

THE Airport Flyer has permanently ceased bookings from Warwick and Stanthorpe to Brisbane Airport, forcing residents to drive to Toowoomba for connecting services.
Airport Flyer company directors, Colville Smith and Ken Morgan, said the move was “regrettable” but the increasing costs of operation had made the service unviable.
Trevellers will now have the option of driving to Toowoomba with free parking provided at the Airport Flyer depot and reduced return fares from $99 to $119.
The Airport Flyer operates up to seven services most days from Toowoomba with arrivals at Brisbane Airport as early as 5.35am and return trips departing up to 8pm.
Southern Down passengers are also offered an on-request link service from Warwick to Stanthorpe to Toowoomba for Airport Flyer direct services to Brisbane Airport.
The request service is available to Toowoomba Airport for direct flights to Sydney with SkyTrains.
Crisps Coaches currently has an airport direct service and a shuttle bus service from both Warwick and Stanthorpe.
Prices from Stanthorpe to Brisbane Airport using Crisps Coaches range from $76 for adults and $66 for pensioners.
Travellers from Warwick, using Crisps Coaches, can expect to pay $65 for adults and $57 for pensioners.
