CAPTION: Stanthorpe Cool Kids has a new co-ordinator on the block – Joanne Petrocitto.
JOANNE Petroccitto has joined Stanthorpe Cool Kids as the new co-ordinator.
Joanne brings a warm motherly touch to the centre with lots of baking, art and craft and fun outdoor games.
Her aim is to focus on providing a homely atmosphere where kids can enjoy a mix of recreational activities as well as practice life and self-help skills through chickens, vegetable garden and cooking activities.
Joanne, previously a hairdresser in the local area, is currently studying for her childcare qualifications and is really enjoying her new career.
The centre has also had a facelift over the past few weeks with lots of new equipment and a fresh coat of paint inside.
The centre caters for both after school care and vacation care and is located opposite the Stanthorpe State Primary School.
