Granite Belt tourism landmark Vincenzo’s at the Big Apple at Thulimbah has closed suddenly.
A sign on the entrance states that “the landlord has re-taken possession of the premises”, understood to have taken place sometime on Tuesday of this week.
The New England Highway landmark north of Stanthorpe has long been a popular stop for both tourists and locals and included a café and deli featuring locally-sourced produce, along with local wines and gift lines.
Comment is being sought from the business operator.
