THOSE with an interest in tourism and want to have their say are being urged to sign up to industry think tanks to be held later this month.
Southern Queensland Country Tourism’s (SQCT) CEO Mary-Clare Power said the think tanks form part of the Destination Tourism Planning process.
They will articulate what the industry needs to do together to create a strong, sustainable and competitive tourism destination.
“This process will influence what happens in our industry for the next 20 years, and we want anyone who cares to come along and provide input.”
One of the think tanks will be held in the council committee room in Warwick from 9am to midday on Wednesday 12 February.
Others sessions are being held in Kingaroy, Chinchilla, Goondiwindi and Toowoomba. Interested parties should RSVP to Southern Queensland Country Tourism at enquiries@sqct.com.au or on 1800 688 949 by 5pm 3 February.
