Utes will muster at the Stanthorpe Show.113804_01

THERE’LL be a beaut collection of utes mustered at the Stanthorpe showgrounds on Saturday, 1 February.
Judges will closely scrutinise more than 20 categories, from classic ute to farm ute.
Winners of the major seven categories – Street, B’n’S, Chicks, Work, 4X4, Feral and Classic – will progress to the Darling Downs regional finals. Winners from the 11 regional finals in Queensland will then have a chance at the Ekka ute muster.
Organisers say Josh Bryce, editor of U Beaut Aussie Utes, is on his way to Stanthorpe, camera in hand. Mr Bryce is reportedly looking for utes to photograph for his second book.
There will also be a secret celebrity country music legend as a judge.
After last year’s event was badly affected by rain and flooding organisers are hoping to top their best-ever muster of 43 utes.
