The Warwick Bowls Club’s Jack Pot bowls day, sponsored by Dominos Pizzas, was held on Wednesday 22 September.
A big field rolled up for the popular event. the overall winners were Col Johnson and Ray Schnitzerling.
As the Jackpot was not won and it jackpots again on 13 October when the jackpot will be worth $100.
In round one Col Johnson and Ray Schnitzerling defeated Pat Seipelt and John Ruhle +5-5.
Aaron Payne and Trevor Wright defeated Ken Hayes and Edwin Welsh +14-14
Pamela Kerr and Brian Black prevailed in their game against James White and Bing Hansen +2-2.
Tony Pritchard and Jim Rickard took the honours in their game against Les Pulley and Phil Wagner +4-4.
Roger Cavanagh and Max Holder tied with Russell Bean and his partner. +0+0.
In round two eventual winners, Col Johnson and Ray Schnitzerling were defeated by Russell Bean and Partner, +21-21.
In other games, Pat Seipelt and John Ruhle defeated Aaron Payne and Trevor Wright +9-9.

James White and Bing Hansen defeated Tony Pritchard and Jim Rickard +5-5.

On Friday (29 Sept) the club held the Bing Hansen sponsored bowls afternoon.
The club acknowledges and thanks Bing for his sponsorship of event each month.
the winners with the highest winning score was the team of pat Seipelt and Edwin Welsh.
The pair scored a 20-8 win over their opponents, sponsor Bing Hansen and Ray Schnitzerling.
In other games David Cooper, Tony Pritchard and Jim Rickard defeated. Cheryl Cooper, Darryl Phillips and Brian Black 10-6.
Col Johnson, James White and Russell Bean had a 16-12 win over Pamela Kerr, John Ruhle and Max Balfour.
On Sunday the final of the Warwick club Self Selected Pairs was played.
In a very the close contest the final and the title went to Ray Schnitzerling and John Ruhle win over Tim Gallagher and Russell Bean.
Congratulations to the winners John and Ray and runner’s up.
The win shows ‘age doesn’t matter.’
Monthly Triples were played on Tuesday.
