While many sports in the past week have been adversely affected by the weather, shooters from the Southern Downs Rifle Club were enjoying summerlike conditions on the Risdon Range on Sunday morning.

The large group apparently needed no coaxing to get down to the range.

Visitors from the Sunshine Coast, Snow and Ash Phillips, enjoyed the day.

They were spending a couple of days in the district as they made their way home.

The Ratsch family from Hervey Bay also joined the regular group as they were visiting Greg Wilson and they certainly gave him a run for his money.

There is nothing like family rivalry in sport.

Mack defeated his uncle while Angela was over the moon beating her brother.

Congratulations to the winners of the classes in what was a competitive field.

Greg Wilson was the overall winner of the F Class standard while Bruce McAllan (124.11) continued his good form in the F Open.
