Morgan Park, Warwick, will be the venue for a special, fun-filled, action packed weekend of horse sport.
The Warwick & District Carriage Driving Club is hosting the Queensland State Championships over September 29 and 30.
Carriage equines and their drivers are invited to attend the combined driving event.
On Saturday, a dressage event will be held from 9am. This will involved precision driving with different movements/paces on an arena marked by letters in a 100m by 40m.  Then 5 mins later the competitors will need to take part in the Cones event, negotiating pairs of numbered and width measured cones course. Dislodging balls from the cones incurs faults.
Sunday will see the Marathon event taking centre stage with competitors needing to take part in a 17 kilometre marathon with six to eight obstacles along the way.
All drivers must be members of the Australian Carriage Driving Society. For more enquiries, contact Greg on 4630 4990 or email glenericponies@bowdler.com.au.
