Greenlands Trail Ride gears up

Little time remains until the much anticipated Greenlands Trail Ride, which will be held on February 18-19.
This is the seventh year that the Greenlands School community has co-ordinated this sporting event.
This year’s two-day ride will be held on several properties on Nundubbermere Road about 17km west of Stanthorpe. This will mean riders will experience some great views.
Recent rains have meant that the track is going to be challenging in parts.
“We know a lot of people will be very keen to see the upgraded track especially after we had to cancel last year’s ride due to weather,” P&C president Russ Smith said.
This year’s attractions include raffle with prizes including $1500 cash, loading ramp and a gear bag, challenging novice track and the always exciting chainsaw demonstrations.
“We are pleased to be working with a range of sponsors to produce another quality event,” Trail boss Peter Burnell said. “These include Top Two motorcycles and Dalby Moto”.
For those who want to experience the ‘whole’ weekend, bush camping facilities will be available at no cost on site.
