First rally for Killarney Pony Club

Killarney Pony Club held their first rally of the year on Sunday, February 6. Numbers have swelled dramatically this year, with 30 riders saddling up for the day.

The very hot day did not deter riders from a variety of activities which included showjump lessons, flatwork and novelties.
Apple bobbing cooling temperatures down during a sausage sizzle lunch was a highlight for the young riders.

Thanks to Tiger and Sue George for their time and effort throughout the day, cooking lunch for the club and instructors.

Chief instructor Philip Brown was especially pleased with the turn up of riders, noting that membership had tripled from last year. The next rally will be held on Sunday, March 6, at the Killarney Showground.
