‘It’s a Case of Art in the Mill’ returned for its 20th and final exhibition from 29 April to 2 May 2022.
What began in 2001 as a collaboration between a few local artists, ended this year with an exhibition acknowledging all of the 50 local artists and makers who have contributed to this event over the last 20 years.
The four-day event held each year over the May Day long weekend has grown in popularity each year. Prior to this year’s event, approximately 16,000 visitors had attended the exhibitions and estimated total sales approaching half a million dollars. It has been completely run by volunteers with no grant monies ever applied for.
