Condamine Medical Centre still running Pfizer clinics

Condamine Medical Centre (CMC) continues to run Pfizer vaccination clinics for those aged 12-and-over, and paediatric Pfizer clinics for children aged five to 11 years.

CMC director Dr Lynton Hudson advises the 12-and-over clinics run twice a week at Assisi Place, on the St Mary’s site in Acacia Avenue, and average around 200 patients per clinic.

The paediatric Pfizer clinic runs from the medical centre site at 53 Wood Street, with the next clinic to be held on 23 February, commencing at 5 pm.

Dr Lynton Hudson from the CMC says that “both Pfizer clinics currently have ample vaccines on hand,” and online bookings are available by visiting conmed.com.au

All individuals aged 16 years and over are recommended to receive a Covid-19 vaccine booster dose to maintain an “up-to-date” status, as defined by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI). This booster is now recommended from three months after the last primary dose.

Some locals have expressed confusion over how to show proof of vaccination without a smartphone or by using the Check-In App.

CMC Covid team members upload individual vaccination status at the completion of each clinic to the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR). It can take up to 10 days for this information to appear on either your My Health Record, Medicare online account, Express Plus Medicare App, Individual Healthcare Identifiers (IHI) Service and the Australian Immunisation Register.

If you have any issues, you can get in touch with the clinic.
