More than 3900 people arrived at the Stanthorpe Showgrounds on Saturday 3 July.
Between snap Covid-19 lockdowns and dreary weather, the odds were not exactly stacked in favour of the 2021 Snowflakes in Stanthorpe being a big hit.
But the event proved the universe wrong – and then some.
