Getting in the Christmas spirit

The Stanthorpe Presbyterian Church looks forward to offering the local community a wonderful Christmas shopping experience once again this year.

The biannual Country Christmas Fair will be held on Saturday, 4th December in the Stanthorpe Civic Centre, from 9-4pm.

Once again, there will be an abundance of handmade, handcrafted and locally grown goods, with the choice of designing your own gift hampers and having them wrapped, ready for Christmas.

A special feature of this year’s market is the theme of “Brown paper packages tied up with string”, where customers can, for a small cost, purchase surprise gifts to bless others.

This year, ALL profits from the Country Christmas Fair will be distributed to four different charities, to benefit our local community – Lifelight, Scripture Union School Chaplaincy program, Standby and a local youth project.

Standby is Australia’s leading suicide postvention program, dedicated to assisting people and communities bereaved or impacted by suicide.

Morning Tea is also on offer, so customers can enjoy a snack and listen to some beautiful local musicians, before heading back out to fill the shopping baskets once again.

We look forward to sharing the Christmas spirit with everyone on Saturday, 4th December.
