Warwick has recorded one new case of Covid-19, infectious in the community for 10 days.

The man was unvaccinated and reportedly attended an event in Moree.

He has been linked to other known cases.

Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk stated they will post any exposure sites that locals need to be concerned about.

So far, Warwick RSL at 65 Albion Street is listed as an exposure site on Monday 1 November.

Condamine Sports Club at 133 Palmerin Street is also listed as an exposure site for the same day.

“Please do go and get tested if you’re in…the Warwick area or have been a south of the border into that Moree area, if you have any symptoms at all,” she said.

“There’s going to probably be a new testing site set up at Warwick as well today, in addition to the seven or so other sites that are available to you.”

The Queensland Health directive is that having the vaccine is an important step towards reducing the serious effects of Covid-19 in people who become infected with the virus.

More to come.
