Stanthorpe Regional Photography Awards

NICKY-CARBON-PRINT by Juan Semo.

By Mary Findlay

This inaugural exhibition celebrates Australian artists who apply their creativity and talents through images originally conceived as a still photograph captured via lens and camera. The artworks were created within the past two years. Some have received minimal post-capture treatment while others have been significantly modified by digital or other processing methods.

The Awards is an open event, unlimited in terms of subject matter or theme. As such it reflects the diversity of contemporary ideas and photographic practices.

The winners have been announced since the deadline for this publication, to find out more about the awards and the winners, see our website: www.srag.org.au/photoawards
