By Rose City Probus Club

Rose City Probus Club of Warwick enjoy creating opportunities for those 50 and over in Warwick and beyond to enjoy social times together, meeting new people, and going places that perhaps they have never visited before.

With this in mind, the club has organised a one-day coach tour around our region on Friday Oct 29, incorporating destinations of interest including Coolmunda Olives, Inglewood, Texas Tobacco Museum, Rabbit Board Museum, and back to Warwick via Stanthorpe.

The day will include morning tea and lunch, with departure from Warwick at 7.30am, return by 6pm.

Cost will be $95 all inclusive.

Event organiser Marion McGahan is keen to encourage anyone interested in the day trip to make the phone call for further enquiries asap.

“After the spring rains, the region should be a real picture”.

“The destinations of interest are very popular with tourists, and this is a great opportunity to take it easy and let someone else do the driving!

“Visitors will be made most welcome and we know that great friendships are made through days such as this.”

Rose City Probus meets every third Wednesday from 9.30am at the Granary function centre on Victoria Street (The Factory Precinct) with interesting guest speakers, social morning tea, along with other social meet ups throughout the month.

For further enquiries and booking for the coach day tour, or Probus meet ups, phone Marion on 0499 267 547.
