Facetime ‘the new real time’ during COVID-19

Darling Downs Health says ‘Facetime is the new real time’ while it continues to protect vulnerable patients across its region’s hospitals – including Warwick and Stanthorpe – by limiting visitors to one visitor/per patient/per day.

“We understand this is hard, and we know how visitors play an important role in a patient’s recovery,” a Darling Downs Health spokeswoman said.

“You can stay in touch with your loved ones, whether they are recovering in hospital, or at home, through phone, text, email, social media or video-chat.

“There are no visiting restrictions on FaceTime!

“Individual exceptions will be considered – please contact the Nurse Unit Manager at your local hospital regarding your family’s situation.”
