Warwick carols in Queens Park Sunday

Warwick will come alive with the sounds of Christmas when Rose City Shoppingworld Carols in the Park heads to the new location of Queens Park this Sunday 8 December from 5pm.

This much-loved, free family event, presented by Southern Downs Regional Council, will host a variety of entertainers in a joyous and magical celebration of Christmas.

The council says the new Queens Park venue off Alice Street has been chosen for ease of access and more room for the carols crowds.

Jingle Bell Rock your way to a jam-packed evening of entertainment, food, children’s activities including an animal farm, jumping castles and face-painting, children’s dress up competition and a visit from Santa Claus.

The three hour program will include traditional carols as well as your favourite up-beat Christmas songs presented by local favourites.

Enjoy the gourmet food stalls including Gino’s wood-fired pizzas, twisted potatoes, gluten free donuts and Dutch poffertjes. There will also be coffee vans, ice cream van, Rotary Club of Warwick, Warwick Lions BBQ and more to be announced.

Bring your own picnic rug or chair and settle into the beautiful surrounds of Queens Park to share the spirit of Christmas in Warwick. Supported by Rose City Shoppingworld and Warwick Credit Union.
